Our client owned a studio apartment in Wooloomooloo that had been built in the 1980’s. So it was in good condition, the kitchen, bathroom and laundry all functioned, but the apartment felt old fashioned and a bit tired. The simple white colour palette felt a little cold and not very inviting. So to increase the weekly rental price our client wanted to completely renovate the bathroom, laundry, kitchen and living areas. The scope for the renovation was to use the existing locations for things like plumbing, electrical wiring, doors and windows but renovate the existing rooms to make them feel fresh and modern.
