RENOVATING MULTIPLE BATHROOMS AT THE SAME TIME
Another one of our bathroom renovations in Alexandria. When it is time to update your home it is possible to get multiple rooms renovated at the same time. For this home in Alexandria the owners were in the middle of updating their whole home so they decided to engage us to update both the main and ensuite bathrooms.

Passion Built‘s renovation scope of work initially was quite straight forward, get started renovating one bathroom then do the other one. Although during the demolition stage we discovered the main bathroom floor was made out of timber chipboard that was severely water damaged caused by failed waterproofing that had created a water leak. It meant the water damaged floor needed to be repaired before we could continue our renovation work.
So we remove the damaged flooring and some of the damaged floor joists. We then re installed new structural floor joists and sheeted the floor with compressed fibre cement boards ready to be used for the waterproofing and tiling.
This because a variation in the renovation contract but it was also a huge benefit that the owners chose our home renovation company because we have contractors that can handle these situations quite easily. The new master bathroom with bathtub
The layout for the master bathroom was going to remain the same with the shower in the corner, bath on the wall and vanity near the entry. The big changes were to update the floor and wall tiling, install a walk in shower, free standing bath tub and new vanity. It was all about making it feel modern, fresh and contemporary using neutral colour tones. The client supplied all the products and they included;

The interior design for the ensuite bathroom renovation used similar materials so that it matched the master bathroom. WIth the narrow space a tiny vanity was used with very cute sink and black taps.
