A bathroom renovation in SYdney with new shower & vanity
Passion Built is a bathroom renovation company in Sydney that was hired to repair this old main bathroom. The couple who were about to get married and they wanted to give their home a modern new look, so they decided to renovate their bathroom, kitchen, laundry, living rooms & bedrooms. The timeline for this renovation project was to be completed so they could return from their wedding and live in their newly renovated home. Each room was completely renovated including the bathroom that had full demolition back to the wall studs and timber frames.
The owners chose Passion Built as to be their renovation contractor in Sydney because of our extensive experience completing all types of renovating projects for houses, units or apartments.
The scope of work for this building project was focussed on repairing the water damage to the bathroom while also doing a complete remodel to give it a fresh, modern look with luxurious stone textures.

For this main bathroom renovation the couple wanted to retain the key features of toilet, shower, vanity & have plenty of space to move around in the room. They wanted floor to ceiling tiling to give the bathroom a touch of luxury. We did a complete demolition of the room to strip it back to the bare timber frame so that everything could be renovated to a high standard vs trying to remodel existing elements.
We used products from ABI Interiors as well as Temple and Webster including the stunning vanity basin. The couple wanted a bathroom interior design that was modern and used a mix of whites and grey tones, the addition of the matt pink basin really pops as soon as you walk into the room.
For every bathroom renovation project in Sydney, we provide a 2D and 3D virtual view of the room so that everything can be planned perfectly. This room was just under 2.5m x 2.5m in size which is pretty normal for most homes in Sydney. This meant there was lots of space for a toilet, walk in shower and vanity. With clever bathroom design you can create so much useful space and it is why we decided to have a single piece glass shower screen so that it was an open space and easy to clean.

Old showers have bulky frames, walls and either a crappy sliding door or plastic curtains. For this renovation we installed a single piece frameless shower screen with full length floor drain. This design feature reduces the clutter in the room and creates more usable space as well. With less joins or brackets to worry about it is also easier to clean.
